Tatneft is building a methionine production plant

Tatneft company has begun construction of a plant in the Republic of Tatarstan for the production of a feed additive – DL‑methionine for livestock farming and fish farming. Project is being implemented jointly with Chinese partners. Investment amount is ₽83 billion. Design capacity is 100,000 tons of DL‑methionine per year.
